CT GROUP PROACTIVELY SUPPORTS THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19 PANDEMIC

To lend a helping hand to frontliners in the battle against Covid-19, CT Group has committed to offering more than VND3.8 billion from the revenue of its Metro Star Shophouse project, which is equivalent to VND50 million per apartment, to Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and the 4th Army Corps. 

As an enterprise with almost 30 years of development who puts humanity at the centre of business, CT Group always pioneers in fulfilling corporate responsibility towards the community and society. As soon as the pandemic surged in Wuhan, the Company has immediately extended its support to the Portuguese volunteer team with initial relief efforts at the centre of the pandemic.

CT Group has taken the lead with a range of activities to support the fight against Covid-19 in Vietnam, such as sending more than 6,000 qualified face masks and essential items to soldiers of the 4th Army Corps Quarantine camp, which is currently one of the most vital frontline units in the war against the coronavirus; and providing free face masks for needy employees and laborers in District 9 and Go Vap District, to name a few.

The Company has also received great support from enthusiastic volunteers who are CT Group employees, such as Ms. Tuyet Dung in Binh Duong province who gave 12 boxes of 3M N95 masks specialised for medical staff, Ms. Thanh Huyen contributing 800kgs of rice, Ms. Thuy Hien and Ms. Tra My giving 1,200 packs of instant noodle, Ms. Anh Thu offering 500 boxes of milk, and other staff like Ms. Ai Van and Ms. Kim Anh, among others.

Noticeably, in upcoming time, the Company plans to provide groceries and food for poor people in the city as a way to share the financial hardship of the whole society amid the pandemic.

CT Group has also pioneered in offering rental fee reduction to support tenants of those buildings of which the Company is the owner. Particularly, enterprises operating in education field are given a 100% fee waiver. This is among CT Group’s efforts to support its partners, helping them focus on business operation during the tough times of Covid-19 pandemic. In terms of internal management, the Company has quickly assessed the situation, then come up with all-scenario coping plans and methods, such as  allowing staff to work from home; assigning luxury apartments in Léman Luxury building for certain on-duty staff so that they don’t have to commute; and ensuring 100% salary and benefits policies for all employees.

Despite all the obstacles ahead, with the strength of unity and the support from the community, CT Group and all its employees strongly believe that the pandemic will soon be defeated.
