On the afternoon of September 18, the Vinh Long Provincial People’s Committee held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation with CT Group.

Under the agreement, the Vinh Long Provincial People’s Committee and CT Group will strengthen comprehensive cooperation under a “three-party” model involving the State, the research community, and enterprises, with a focus on the research, application, and commercialization of strategic technology products.
At the signing ceremony, the two sides agreed to focus on six key areas: developing digital data across sectors and industries toward a seamless and integrated governance and administration system; building an innovation ecosystem and research and development (R&D) environment; developing a UAV ecosystem for applications in agriculture, logistics, and search and rescue (SAR); advancing high-tech agriculture and climate change adaptation models; developing the green economy and carbon credit market; and promoting multi-layer digitalization and smart city development through Digital Twin technology.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Quynh Thien, Vice Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial People’s Committee, emphasized that the signing of the MoU would create new momentum for the province to effectively unlock the potential of the digital economy, green economy, and knowledge economy. He affirmed that the province would create favorable conditions for the cooperation and assign relevant specialized agencies to serve as focal points, working closely with CT Group to translate the agreement into concrete cooperation programs and action plans.

On behalf of CT Group, Tran Van Phat, Deputy General Director of CT Group, affirmed that the Group would mobilize advanced technological resources and a team of highly qualified experts to provide consultancy and transfer breakthrough solutions, contributing to enhanced competitiveness and sustainable development in Vinh Long Province.
