On the morning of August 6, 2026, CT Group and the People’s Committee of Can Tho City signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and the development of strategic technology products. The partnership aims to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW while jointly studying and proposing solutions to effectively develop and utilize the Ho Chi Minh City – Can Tho railway project (the section passing through Can Tho City).
Under the agreement, the two parties will collaborate on several key initiatives, including: developing the Hau Giang Digital Technology Zone; fostering the innovation ecosystem at the CASIC Complex Hub (Startup and Innovation Complex); advancing the UAV ecosystem; promoting the application and development of VGCT biotechnology and high-tech agriculture; driving the green economy and carbon credit initiatives; developing the Can Tho High-Tech Park; and jointly researching and proposing effective solutions for the development and utilization of the Ho Chi Minh City – Can Tho railway project (the section within Can Tho City).
