On the afternoon of May 21, 2026, a delegation from the Institute of Vietnam and World Economy (IVWE) under the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, together with representatives from the Department of Science and Technology of Quang Ninh Province, visited and held a working session with CT Group.
The delegation comprised prominent experts, researchers, and policymakers in the fields of economics, science and technology, and innovation. Key members included Dr. Ha Huy Ngoc – Director of the Center for Strategy and Policy, Dr. Pham Anh Tuan – Vice President of the Institute of Vietnam and World Economy (IVWE), along with representatives from the Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged insights on CT Group’s R&D strategy and practical investments in strategically important core technologies. They shared experiences in achieving technological autonomy to strengthen global competitiveness, discussed challenges faced by private enterprises in strategic technology sectors, and proposed policy recommendations to promote innovation and technology mastery in Vietnam.
The two parties also discussed cooperation frameworks and policies to enable Quang Ninh Province to attract and support major technology corporations in solving strategic challenges under the Science and Technology Framework Program for the 2026–2030 period. They further promoted the “triple helix” collaboration model between enterprises – government – research institutions to develop a creative innovation ecosystem and a high-quality technology workforce for the future.
