From janitors and security guards to drivers and sales staff, everyone was moved to tears when they received their Tet bonus of one tael of 9999 gold.
On the last working day of the year, while all departments were busy finishing their final tasks, the cleaning staff quietly wiped down each desk and washed each glass to keep the office spotless. Outside in the lobby, the security guards stood in the sun directing traffic, while the drivers were busy dropping off and picking up staff on business trips. They were the first to arrive and the last to leave, silently keeping every corner of the office spotless and ensuring the Group’s stability through even the smallest details.
On a melancholic late afternoon at the end of the year, these unsung heroes were invited to attend the ceremony honoring long-serving employees of CT Group. Their hands, accustomed to broom handles, steering wheels, and sleepless nights guarding gates, nervously clasped together as they waited to receive their awards. Then, true joy erupted when each long-serving employee, from janitors and security guards to drivers, received one tael of 9999 gold, currently valued at over 180 million VND. This is CT Group’s special seniority bonus policy; every five years of service, employees receive one tael of 9999 gold. This year, many employees with 10, 15, 20, or even 25 years of service continued to receive one tael of gold, just like in previous years.
On the faces of Mr. Van Hong and Mr. Huu Nghia – security guards at Steel Star Company with over a decade of dedication to the Group – joy still shone brightly, just like the first time their names were called. Whether it was their second or third time receiving the gold award, the recognition still brought about emotions that were difficult to put into words. “I am very grateful and moved to receive this valuable reward, which will help my family have a more stable life, ease some worries, and provide better care for my children,” they shared.
While gold prices have been soaring and rising continuously, at one point reaching 190 million VND per tael, obtaining a tael of gold has become increasingly difficult. Therefore, this corporation’s gold reward program has attracted even more attention. It’s noteworthy that CT Group has chosen gold as a reward to show appreciation to its employees for decades, quietly doing so for a very long time.

Amidst the congratulatory applause, Ms. Pham Mong Nhi, a cleaning staff member at CT Group, couldn’t hide her tears of happiness. Having worked there for five years, she always considered it her second home, but the gift of a gold bar in her hands today was still an unbelievable reward.
” As the Group grows and achieves more success, I feel even more proud to be a part of it. Thanks to CT Group, I not only have a stable job but also receive thoughtful care and meaningful gifts every Tet holiday. My family’s circumstances are truly difficult, so receiving a gold bar was overwhelmingly joyful. In my whole life, I never thought I would hold such a large asset in my hands. I only hope to have good health so I can continue working at the Group,” Ms. Nhi shared emotionally.

Ms. Mong Nhi shared her emotions upon receiving the award.
Mr. La Ngoc Tam, a security guard at Steel Star Company, added with tears welling up in his eyes: “Receiving this award makes me understand even more that in this corporation, every position is equally valued. With the price of gold constantly rising, I never dared to imagine that one day I would own a quantity of gold like this.”
Standing alongside his colleagues with joyful expressions, security guard Nguyen Thanh Tri looked at the gift in his hands as if it were a dream come true. “Throughout my years of working, I never dared to imagine I would one day receive a quantity of gold like this. My security guard salary is barely enough to cover living expenses and rent; I might never be able to afford even a single ounce of gold in my lifetime. I am truly grateful to the Group,” Tri expressed.
For Mr. Vo Duy Thuan – a driver familiar with overnight journeys and rush hour traffic jams – this is an unforgettable milestone. “Being a driver, sometimes people think of it as just ordinary labor, rarely getting recognized or acknowledged. But holding this gold in my hands, I feel that my efforts are truly appreciated by the Group. This bonus helps my family cover living expenses, have a more fulfilling and prosperous Tet holiday, and take care of other important things…” – Mr. Thuan shared.
In particular, the awards ceremony witnessed a heartwarming moment for the couple, Mr. Tran Van Hien and Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tai. Both are sales staff at Bon Grocer supermarket with 5 years of experience, and they couldn’t hide their emotions. With tears in her eyes, Ms. Kim Tai said: “This Tet (Lunar New Year) is truly the biggest Tet of our lives. My husband and I now have 2 taels of gold, worth about 360 million VND – an amount we never dared to dream of, not even in our wildest dreams. Throughout the years, we have received so much from the Group and are truly grateful to the Management Board for always caring for and looking after the employees in such a thoughtful and compassionate way.”
A representative from CT Group shared: “Despite the many economic difficulties and challenges, the Group has strived to support its employees and ensure they have a prosperous and meaningful life. Sowing seeds of kindness is one of the core values that the Group aims for. Life is not just about material values, but more importantly, about spiritual values; all honest work is worthwhile. This year, we will recruit an additional 20,000 personnel from all industries, regions of the country, and internationally. We hope that we will be given the opportunity to fulfill our mission.”
