On December 19, 2025, CT Group and Can Tho University (CTU) officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to promote education, research, and application of Biotechnology, with a strong focus on agricultural biotechnology.

Under the agreement, CT Group will sponsor scholarships and collaborate in selecting outstanding talents for master’s and doctoral training programs at prestigious international institutions, aiming to build a core team of experts capable of leading the development and application of biotechnology in Vietnam; co-organize domestic and international forums and conferences, creating a platform that connects businesses with scientists and researchers… CT Group and CTU will jointly develop a biotechnology incubator with the goal of testing, transferring and commercializing research outcomes, thereby shortening the gap between laboratory research and real-world agricultural production…

This collaboration between CT Group and CTU lays a solid foundation for biotechnology to move beyond research and pilot stages, truly taking root in the fields of the Mekong Delta, transforming into tangible value, spreading benefits and creating sustainable development momentum for farmers, enterprises, and the entire agricultural ecosystem of the Mekong Delta.
