On August 25 in Da Nang, the Ministry of Education and Training, in collaboration with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade through the Aus4Skills program “Australia–Vietnam Human Resource Development” and the University of Danang, organized the University–Business Cooperation Forum.
The event included the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between universities/higher education institutions and corporations, enterprises
Attending were representatives of central and local government agencies; international organizations; leaders of 50 higher education institutions and vocational training institutions with strengths in training and research on high technology and strategic technology.

The University–Business Cooperation Forum, themed “Tripartite Cooperation in Training and R&D in High Technology and Strategic Technology”, provided an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss and propose solutions ranging from mechanisms and policies to cooperation culture, thereby enhancing the linkage of the “Three Houses” (Government–University–Enterprise) to contribute to developing high-quality human resources and creating breakthroughs in science, technology, and innovation.
Forum overview
In his opening remarks, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son emphasized that the Party, the National Assembly, and the Government always pay special attention to promoting strong linkages among stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem.
Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son stressed that Government–Universities–Enterprises cannot operate in isolation but must accompany and support one another to address major challenges of the economy and create breakthroughs in the priority fields of high technology and strategic technology.
In this model, the Government plays the role of orienting and establishing institutions and policies. Universities carry the mission of education, research, and knowledge development. Enterprises have the role of applying, transferring technology, and creating products and economic value.

Speaking at the forum, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – President of the University of Da Nang – underlined that the forum is an important bridge, reflecting shared social responsibility in connecting the “Three Houses” (Government–University–Enterprise).
In particular, the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW is truly a golden key, creating opportunities for universities and businesses to make great efforts with strong determination, joining hands to create breakthroughs for national development in the new era.
In the thematic sessions, 25 papers were presented and discussed by delegates under two topic groups: University–Business cooperation in research and training of high-quality human resources and Building a culture of cooperation, affirming the social responsibility of universities and businesses.
At the forum, a cooperation signing event between universities/higher education institutions and corporations/enterprises also took place, with 21 MOUs signed. These agreements focus on collaboration in training and research in strategic and priority fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Big Data, Cloud Computing, and more.
