On 11/11/2010, C.T Group took part in the Vietnamese Government’s high-level delegation led by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to the G20 Summit in Seoul, Korea.
This year’s summit, hosted by Korea – a country that does not belong to G7, took place in quite a special circumstance where G20 member countries are in disagreement about monetary and financial policies with numerous complicated developments. As Korea has begun to play an important role in the world’s economy, it also successfully fulfilled the role of a host country.
In the morning of 11 November, the Vietnam-Korea round-table summit was held at the Imperial Palace Hotel, with the attendance of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, Ministries and top enterprises from both countries. Korea is currently the biggest foreign investor in Vietnam with 3.000 projects totaling up to 23 billion US dollars. At the round-table conference, Korea also put forward various suggestions for cooperation between the two countries and as well as solutions to enhance its effectiveness.
On this occasion, C.T Group had bilateral meetings with market-leading enterprises such as GS, Kumho, SK etc. to discuss cooperative programs for 2011-2012 which focus on environment, post-harvest processing, construction and real estate etc.
