At a business meeting chaired by the Prime Minister, the Chairman of CT Group stated that after just 6 months of implementing Resolution 57, the corporation had accomplished a workload equivalent to 2 years.

At the Business Meeting themed ’80 Years of Enterprises Accompanying the Nation,’ Tran Kim Chung, Chairman of CT Group – the first Vietnamese enterprise to export UAVs to South Korea – stated that from a small company established in 1992, when the country began its period of opening and integration, CT Group has now grown to include 68 member companies in multiple countries, operating across nine core technology sectors and various traditional industries.
Entering a new era for the nation, Mr. Chung emphasized that in just six months of implementing Resolution 57, CT Group had accomplished a workload equivalent to two years, with over 100 conferences and seminars centered on the theme Youth Festival and Resolution 57, along with numerous initiatives in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
According to Mr. Chung, on August 20, CT Group was chosen by the Indonesian government as the primary partner to develop the low-altitude economy ecosystem and the UAV industry, serving sectors such as energy, agriculture, and forestry. The signing ceremony took place in Jakarta.

Earlier, CT Group, together with the Hanoi People’s Committee and Gelex Group, commenced construction of the Innovation Hub 4.0 in Hanoi, built on a foundation of AI, Web3, and blockchain technologies.
On April 29, the company inaugurated Vietnam’s first Innovation Hub 4.0 and is preparing to open a second hub in Hanoi. On April 30, CT Group broke ground on Phase 2 of Vietnam’s first semiconductor chip factory fully owned and developed with domestic technology; by June 29, the company had unveiled its first 12-bit, 200 MSPS chip model, designed entirely by Vietnamese engineers.
On August 12, during General Secretary To Lam’s visit to South Korea, CT Group secured an order to export 500 heavy cargo UAVs to the country. The two sides are now working closely together, and the company’s five factories are in full preparation to fulfill this order.
The company also has an export order of 100 million semiconductor chips to South Korea, which is currently being prepared.
On the occasion of Vietnam’s Independence Day (September 2), CT Group announced a new biotech product aimed at improving vision for approximately 600,000 people with permanent blindness and 300,000 patients requiring long-term care.
Tran Kim Chung affirmed that CT Group will continue to leverage its intellectual resources and innovative spirit to make greater contributions to the country’s development.
Also at the conference, Dang Minh Truong, Chairman of Sun Group, shared that the company began its journey in Da Nang in 2007 and has since been a pioneer in tourism development, building a resort and entertainment ecosystem spanning from the North to the South of Vietnam.

In addition to tourism, Sun Group has also been involved in many key infrastructure projects such as airports, seaports, and expressways, contributing to local economic development and enhancing connectivity between destinations.
In the current context, Mr. Truong emphasized that Sun Group, together with the broader business community, is fully aware of its responsibility to work alongside the Government in pursuing rapid and sustainable development, building a strong and prosperous Vietnam. With the goal of the tourism sector contributing around 10% of GDP, Sun Group is committed to continued investment to drive shared prosperity.
The Business Meeting themed “80 Years of Enterprises Accompanying the Nation” took place on the afternoon of August 30, chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The event was attended by representatives from 60 state-owned corporations and groups, 141 private enterprises, and 50 foreign-invested enterprises (FDIs).
