THE FOUNDATION OF FUNDAMENTAL SCIENCE “GERMINATES” NEW TECHNOLOGIES

CT GROUP

Few people know that in Vietnam, there is a corporation that has chosen to start from the “roots” by investing methodically in fundamental science and innovation to build a solid foundation for developing multiple emerging core technologies within a highly synergistic ecosystem.

As global competition in new technologies intensifies, fundamental science and innovation have become decisive factors. The history of every major technological revolution – from artificial intelligence and semiconductors to UAVs and telecommunications – has always been grounded in foundational scientific breakthroughs.

Reality shows that any enterprise or nation capable of mastering fundamental science will find it far easier to build and expand a technological ecosystem. In Vietnam, CT Group is among the very few corporations that have chosen to pursue this development path from the ground up. Over the years, the Group has invested heavily in fundamental science, established laboratories and R&D centers, and gathered thousands of leading experts across disciplines.

What differentiates CT Group’s approach to fundamental science is that it does not stop at academic research. Instead, it is oriented toward practical application, designed to address core challenges across industries and contribute solutions to national priorities.

Advanced dynamic models enhance UAV stability; data science and applied mathematics form the foundation for AI algorithms used in UAV control, traffic forecasting, and resource–environment monitoring; and molecular biology underpins biomedical technologies and precision agriculture.

Core scientific pillars such as physics, chemistry, biology, applied mathematics, and dynamics have established the methodological framework that drives technological improvements and enables new technologies to take root. This foundation has allowed CT Group to become one of the few enterprises capable of developing and mastering 9 core technologies of Industry 4.0: Semiconductors, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Green Crypto Currency, Carbon Credit Platforms, Robotics, Quantum Computing, New Energy, and Gene and Cell technologies. A key distinction is that these technologies within the Group do not evolve in isolation but reinforce one another.

This synergy accelerates the emergence of new core technology sectors. A prime example is the 15-layer National Digital Twin (NDT 15), developed through the integration of UAVs, AI, data technologies, and multiple scientific disciplines. NDT 15 serves as a breakthrough tool for governing megacities and nations, making smart urban planning more feasible through a system that synchronizes over 300 data sources across 15 layers, supporting comprehensive national digital transformation.

Building on major advances in NDT15, UAVs, AI, and semiconductors, GASCO (a member of CT Group), has successfully developed the doctrine of the Low-Altitude Economy, a multi-layered economic structure operating below 3,000 meters, where most human and machine activities are elevated into low-altitude space, enabling productivity that is many times higher.

A series of new technological combinations has since emerged, such as UAVs – Carbon Credits (high-precision forest and agricultural carbon measurement for the national carbon market); UAVs – Semiconductors (self-reliant chips and systems for specialized missions, ensuring data security); and Robotics – UAVs (aerial robotic arms for high-precision tasks in complex environments). These integrated technologies continue to expand into additional fields, giving rise to new tech sectors and contributing significantly to both the breadth and depth of Vietnam’s high-tech ecosystem.

Aerial Robot – a robotic arm mounted on a UAV, created from the integration of Robotics and UAV technologies.

Especially, as the semiconductor industry advances into dimensions smaller than a virus, a remarkable convergence is emerging between Semiconductor technology and Biotechnology. With a team of world-class scientists in biotechnology, CT Group is preparing to introduce groundbreaking products to the global market, accelerating Vietnam’s biotechnology sector and positioning it to capture the next wave of global technological development.

If fundamental science serves as the foundation, then innovation is the driving force for growth,  advancing socio-economic development, and improving productivity, quality, efficiency, and the overall competitiveness of the economy. One of CT Group’s key strategic initiatives is its next-generation innovation center, CT Innovation Hub 4.0 (located at 20 Truong Dinh Street, formerly District 3, Ho Chi Minh City).

CT Innovation Hub 4.0 welcomes thousands of domestic and international students to visit and learn.

This marks a significant advancement over the 3.0 generation and traditional startup centers, largely due to its core operational technologies and the way value is created when CT Innovation Hub 4.0 is powered entirely by Web3 and AI. Notably, its core infrastructure is built on blockchain to ensure uniqueness and protect intellectual property for all ideas.

With its distinctive “magnet core” model anchored by 9 core technologies and 1 coordinating system, CT Group strategically attracts and cultivates innovation, turning ideas into real products with clear direction and intent.

In the long term, CT Innovation Hub 4.0 aims to evolve into a Web3-based Super Innovation University, where learning is directly linked to value creation and near-immediate monetization – a powerful incentive for learners.

With a solid foundation in fundamental science and strong innovation capabilities, CT Group has successfully developed an extensive ecosystem of core-technology products in Vietnam. This stands as a vivid testament to a corporation rising through its own technological strength, capable of competing globally and contributing to national development in emerging tech sectors.

Building on its mastery of advanced technologies, CT Group is now extending its reach into space through its company CT VERSE. The Group is developing Vietnam’s first 100-kg satellite, targeted for launch in 2026, contributing to the nation’s entry into a new era of technological advancement.
