On Sep. 9th, 2010, Ms. Dinh Thi Bich Thao – General Director of Investment, on behalf of C.T Group, offered the award “Saigon Heart” to Mr. Pham Van Tan (called Bay Tan) who has been spontaneously collecting garbage on HCMC channels and cannals without any income.
The total value of the award is 60 million Vietnam dongs. Mr. Bay Tan (residing at 161D/104/45 Lac Long Quan St., Group 25, Quarter 2, Ward 3, District 11, HCMC) is 70 years old.
Receiving the award, Mr. Bay Tan emotionally said, “I will use this amount of money when being sick. I am healthy and still able to collect garbage”.
This is the first activity of the award “Saigon Heart” organized by C.T Group. The award aims to encourage individuals or organizations who enthusiastically devote to preserve and protect green environment for the community. The award aims to have more “Mr. Bay Tan”, more open-mind people loving Saigon.

C.T Group has just completed Caravan Tour across Vietnam “Hanoi – Saigon 2010 Charitable Campaign”. Children from more than 3000 needy families were supported for the beginning of school year.
