It is C.T Group proposal to Mr Nyan Tun, Vice President of Myanmar on the occasion of his visit to the Group at the end of last March as part of his first official visit to Vietnam on his position of Vice President.
According to Mr Tran Kim Chung, C.T Group Chairman, it is urgently necessary to set up Vietnam – Myanmar industrial zone in Yangon. Currently a lot of Vietnamese enterprises want to invest in production in Myanmar, but most of them are small and medium without strong relationships in Myanmar. So, it is so difficult to find the land to open a factory in Myanmar. Not only Vietnamese investors but also investors from China, Japan, and other countries are rushing to Myanmar causing sharply rising demand of land. In this context, the establishment of Vietnam – Myanmar industrial zone in Yangon is a timely and effective solution to support Vietnamese enterprises to arrange their production.
Myanmar Vice President promised to support this C.T Group proposal, and highly appreciated C.T Group’s commercial and investment promotion in Myanmar. Mr Nyan Tun also said that there will be more push-up measures to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries.
