ENTERPRISE COMMENDED BY PRIME MINISTER FOR EXPORTING 5,000 UAVS UNVEILS A LINEUP OF NEW PRODUCTS, PAYLOADS OF UP TO 200KG

CT GROUP

This lineup of firefighting UAVs was developed by CT Group.

Firefighting UAVs

On the morning of August 14, the Forum for Dialogue with Enterprises on Fire Prevention and Fighting, Search and Rescue, Security, Safety, and Digital Transformation was held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center, located in Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

The event welcomed the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ho Chi Minh City Chief of Police, as well as representatives from ministries, agencies, department, and People’s Committees of provinces and cities.

The exhibition showcased 4 main product groups: Fire Prevention and Fighting, Search and Rescue technologies, engineering, and equipment; security and safety technologies and products, smart buildings and smart homes, smart parking; applications for industrial zones, factories, high-tech parks, and premium buildings; construction solutions, managing buildings and smart cities, shopping centers, retail, and transportation.

The event drew strong participation from various enterprises, including CT UAV (a member of CT Group) which introduced two specialized UAV solutions for Fire Prevention and Fighting, Search and Rescue

CT Group recently signed a contract to export 5,000 UAVs to South Korea in Seoul, South Korea.

At this exhibition, CT Group presented the Fire Prevention UAV CT-SURVEY COMPACT 5KG, designed for monitoring, early detection, and alerting potential fire risks in high-hazard areas. The UAV can be programmed for automated flights at fixed intervals.

The firefighting UAV has a payload capacity of 3-6kg, a maximum flight ceiling of 5,000 meters, a speed of 10-15 m/s, and wind resistance of below 13.8 m/s (Level 6).

Another highlight was the HEXAROTOR FIREFIGHTING UAV, capable of directly engaging in firefighting and rescue missions in hard-to-reach locations.

HEXAROTOR FIREFIGHTING UAV

This UAV boasts a payload capacity of 60–200 kg, a maximum flight ceiling below 3,000 meters, a speed of 10–15 m/s, wind resistance below 13.8 m/s (Level 6), and Camera Zoom hybrid 4K AI 180x.

The combination of these two UAV models significantly shortens response times, accelerates emergency actions, and enhances community safety.

First passenger-carrying UAV in ASEAN

CT Group also revealed its substantial investments in unmanned aerial vehicle technology, with a portfolio of 16 UAV models and developments in the Low Altitude Economy (LAE) sector.

In addition to UAVs for  Fire Prevention and Fighting, Search and Rescue, the company drew attention at the Vietnam International Defense Expo in late 2024 with several internally developed models, most notably a 1/6 scale Prototype of the CT-2W1-UAV fixed-wing.

This is the first fixed-wing passenger UAV in ASEAN, capable of flying at speeds of 200 km/h, carrying up to 5 passengers, and sustaining flights for up to 2 hours. At that time, CT UAV projected mass production to commence in late 2025 or early 2026.

The company is also set to export its heavy-duty cargo UAVs to South Korea under the newly signed August 12 contract. These aircraft have payload capacities ranging from 60 to 300 kg, with a localization rate of up to 85%. CT Group is further advancing UAVs integrated with artificial intelligence, semiconductor technology, and geolocation network systems.

Regarding the 5,000-UAV export deal, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the principle that “when enterprises succeed, the nation succeeds.”

He highly valued CT Group’s proactive investment and development programs, which align with Vietnam’s core technology development strategies.

The head of the Government instructed the Office of the Government, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Bank of Vietnam, along with relevant ministries, agencies, department and localities, to review, address, and support CT Group in establishing manufacturing facilities; accessing the 500 trillion VND preferential credit package for science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and strategic infrastructure; support brand building; securing government procurement orders; encouraging domestic production; and contributing to ensuring economic security.
