National Digital Twin 15 – NDT 15:

1. Technology

– 2026 is predicted to be the year of specialized AI, humanoid robots deeply integrated into daily life, and practical applications of quantum computing and brain–computer interfaces.
– Toyota launches the Walk Me robot chair: a four-legged walking mechanism powered by electric motors, carrying up to 100kg, blurring the line between medical assistive devices and high-tech robotics.
– Global Positioning System (GPS) appears in many civilian and military devices but currently faces risks of interference and vulnerability to attacks.
– TSMC (Taiwan) begins mass production of its most advanced 2nm chips.
– Honda shocks the market with a patent for automatic steering technology, enabling motorcycles to detect and avoid collisions in the nick of time.
– Samsung prepares to bring full satellite calling capability to the Galaxy S26 series via its new Exynos modem.
– From January 1, 2026, social media platforms are strictly prohibited from eavesdropping or reading user messages without explicit consent from the data owner.
– China successfully develops, for the first time, a fault-tolerant uantum computer, opening new potential pathways for large-scale quantum computing.
– China operates a full-capacity hydrogen-powered steel plant with 1 million tons/year output and near-zero emissions, reducing over 3.14 million tons of CO2.

– The Ministry of Home Affairs issues Decision No. 1521/QD-BNV, approving the establishment of the Vietnam Green Transformation Association (VGTA), committed to fulfilling international greenhouse gas reduction pledges and aiming for net-zero emissions by 2050.
