According to the agreement, the two parties will jointly develop training programs tailored to practical needs, organize certificate courses, train young leaders, support overseas internships for students and lecturers, and implement education systems based on digital platforms. Scientific research is also a key focus, with high-application projects tied to real-world issues, as well as national and international programs.
CTU students will gain increased opportunities to participate in corporate semesters, internships, graduation projects, and hands-on technology initiatives at CT Group. The Group also commits to providing annual scholarships, sponsoring student clubs, labs, training equipment, and prioritizing the recruitment of outstanding CTU students into its business ecosystem.
Notably, the agreement also includes CT Group commissioning technology products from the university—such as software, devices, and systems—to serve the practical needs of the enterprise. Furthermore, the two sides will co-organize specialized seminars with the participation of domestic and international experts, and promote sustainable academic outreach and branding efforts.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Trần Trung Tính, Principal of Can Tho University, stated that the cooperation model between the State – Universities – Enterprises is a vital pillar for promoting sustainable development. Over the years, Can Tho University has actively implemented this model and achieved noteworthy results. Today’s signing with CT Group represents a valuable opportunity for both sides to effectively leverage their strengths in resources, human capital, and technology. This is not only a foundation for implementing practical training and research programs but also a bridge that helps students in the Mekong Delta region gain access to real working environments, experience CT Group’s 12 core technology sectors, nurture innovation, and enhance their competitiveness after graduation. At the same time, this partnership offers a chance for the university’s faculty and experts to gain insights from practical experience, thereby contributing more profoundly to the quality of education.
