An unexpected announcement has drawn significant attention from both domestic and international markets: CT Group is being separated into two fully independent corporations — one focused on real estate and infrastructure, and the other on high technology. What is the strategic rationale behind CT Group’s move?
More than a major organizational restructuring, CT Group’s decision to split into two independent corporations after 34 years of robust development has raised compelling questions among market strategists and industry observers. A closer look at CT Group’s trajectory over the past decade reveals the rapid rise of its technology companies, including CT UAV in unmanned aerial vehicle technology; GASCOLAE in the Low-Altitude Economy; CCTPA in carbon credits; NDT15 in the 15-layer National Digital Twin; VGCT in biotechnology; CT Modulex in robotic house; CT Innovation Hub 4.0 in innovation center; and CT Semiconductor in semiconductor chips,… At the same time, CT Group’s real estate division has maintained a notably low profile, while a new focus on transportation infrastructure has begun to emerge. So, what is the real strategic plan behind this traditionally discreet corporation?

CT Homes Real Estate & Infrastructure Group
In an interview with the media, Ms. Ngo Thi Thu Thuy, Deputy CEO of CT Homes, the parent group overseeing 53 member companies operating across the real estate and infrastructure sectors, shared: “CT Homes is entering a new era with the participation of a multinational executive leadership team and an expanding presence in markets where demand for new lifestyle experiences is growing rapidly in the Industry 4.0 era. We will unveil a number of new product lines in 2026. CT Homes is set to become a new-generation real estate and infrastructure group, with estimated total assets of VND 450 trillion, while pursuing phased IPOs across its portfolio. This presents a significant opportunity for both domestic and international investors.”
The separation and relocation of CT Homes’ headquarters immediately became a focal point of market attention. Headquartered at 369 Le Van Sy Street, Nhieu Loc Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, CT Homes operates under a Board of Directors and executive management structure aligned with international standards. CT Homes currently holds a portfolio of 68 projects, with a targeted total asset value estimated at approximately VND 450 trillion, while projected sales are expected to reach VND 20 trillion within the next 12 months.
CT Homes’ competitive advantages are built on many distinctive factors, such as the large number of projects among its 68 projects that are predominantly located in prime locations, such as near Metro stations and at the main gateways of major cities. In particular, its capability to implement diverse types of projects, accumulated over many years, and its absolutely assured product quality, with extremely strong sales performance, always selling out with no unsold inventory, a debt balance below 2.5% of total assets, and progressing toward having no debt at all by 2027, provide a solid foundation for CT Homes to accelerate sustainable development during periods of significant market volatility. In addition, CT Homes has mastered many high technologies to confidently step into a new era in the real estate sector, such as AI, automation, carbon credits, and robotic houses that can create new markets.

CT Group Hi-Tech
The younger sibling of CT Homes, CT Group Hi-Tech, inherits the headquarters of CT Group. It is a sustainable synergistic ecosystem comprising 15 strategic technology companies that have been in preparation for nearly 10 years and are now officially beginning to operate as a separate entity.
The biggest differentiator of CT Group Hi-Tech lies in its ability to master the entire value chain of a closed-loop technology ecosystem, from research, R&D, and design to manufacturing, commercialization, and the export of products to global markets. CT Group Hi-Tech is a symbol of the Vietnamese spirit of self-reliance and perseverance, with a steadfast determination to keep striving to catch up with the world’s technological advancements.
Today, CT Group Hi-Tech is leading in several strategic technology sectors, including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (CT UAV); Low-Altitude Economy – LAE (GASCOLAE); the 15-Layer National Digital Twin (NDT15); Robotic Houses (CT Modulex); Biotechnology (VGCT); and Carbon Credits (CCTPA), with dedicated innovation centers (CT Innovation Hub 4.0) for young people. At the same time, CT Group Hi-Tech continues to advance in other high-tech sectors, including Semiconductor Chips (CT Semiconductor, Diginal); Space Technology (CT Verse); Autonomous Vehicle Technology (CTrans); AI Technology (CT Optimal); and Green Crypto Currency (Carbondo).
Notably, CT UAV is preparing to pursue its ambition of becoming a Vietnamese technology unicorn through a planned IPO on the Nasdaq Stock Market in the United States in 2027. The move is expected to pave the way for CT Group Hi-Tech’s broader strategy of developing one new technology unicorn every year.
Dr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Chairman of the Vietnam Real Estate Association (VNREA) and a member of the Prime Minister’s Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform, commented: “The separation of CT Homes and CT Group Hi-Tech marks a historic milestone. It not only opens a new chapter in CT Group’s development, but also reflects a stronger commitment to making meaningful contributions to the country’s progress. While the two groups will operate under distinct strategies and governance models, both inherit the cultural foundation, reputation and internal strengths that CT Group has built over the past 34 years. More importantly, although they operate in two entirely different sectors, both share the same vision of bringing Vietnam to the world, each in its own distinctive way”.
After more than three decades of firmly establishing its presence in the marketplace, CT Group is now standing at a historic turning point as it enters a new era of development. What has been revealed so far may only be the beginning, as the market now looks ahead to the next moves of these two newly independent groups.
