Seeing the severe impact of Damrey Storm No. 12 on the central provinces, all CT Group’s staff members donated meaningful gifts to the victims and sent their volunteer teams to deliver such gifts to them in Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh in 10th, 11th and 12th of November.
Upon arrival, we could see the devastated scene here: broken bridges, damaged electric poles, broken trees, etc. People are still frightened, after a single night, they lost their houses and all assets. The scene appeared daily newspapers. Many kind of emotions overwhelmed us.
We carry 615 gifts worth more than 300 million dong, some old clothes and necessary supplies. That was not much, but it was the heart that each CT Group employees sent to the people of Central Vietnam. That was also the motivation that helped us embark on this journey.
In Khanh Hoa, the delegation has presented 315 gifts including cash, clothes, food and other necessities to households in Ninh Phung, Ninh Dong (Ninh Hoa district) and Khanh Thuong (Khanh Vinh district). People here were doing the works to help each other overcome the impact of the storm.

Leaving Khanh Hoa, we went to Song Cau town, Phu Yen province with 100 gifts. People here were suffering from floods. In Phuoc Canh, the water level was still quite high, however, people still managed to come early to receive the support of the delegation. Talking with the people helped us perceive the difficulties that they must face: “The roof of my house was blown away, rice was soaked in water, blankets were also wet but we couldn’t afford a new one” said an old woman.

Obsessed by the situation here, our delegation continued to proceed quickly to gifts to help people who were recovering after the storm. Along the soil driveway, we brought 200 gifts to the people of 4 communes severely damaged by the flood include Hoai Xuan, Hoai My, Hoai Huong, Hoai Hai, Hoai Nhon district, Binh Dinh province. The crops were spoiled, people must struggle with the floods that immerged all the fields and villages.

Although facing many difficulties, people here seemed very optimistic, perhaps in part thanks to the timely encouragement and support from good people throughout the country as well as internationally. The “Love to the Central” Journey of C.T Group has contributed to the sharing and support to the miserable like the traditions of Vietnamese people.
