MEETING BETWEEN LEADERS OF MARKET-LEADING COMPANIES AND OUTSTANDING STUDENTS, ALUMNI, AND UNIVERSITY TEACHERS

CT GROUP

This question was the main topic for investigation and discussion at the “Meeting between outstanding students and alumni from top universities and leaders of market-leading companies”. Organized by C.T Group with the sponsorship of Hoa Binh Construction and Real Estate Corporation, Thien Long Corporation, C.T Retail, and Tuyet Trang JSC, this event was not only an occasion for young talents to find a good working environment in market-leading companies but also an opportunity for them to learn from leaders of big enterprises, build their career and develop their ability. The meeting took place in a cozy atmosphere with amazing performances at 1A Ngo Van Nam Street, District 1, Hochiminh city. This was also an occasion for CEOs and outstanding students to meet and express their gratitude to teachers for the Vietnamese Teachers’ day – November 20. The four parties: CEOs, teachers, final-year outstanding students, and alumni discussed ways to help outstanding students to succeed in their future career and contribute to the country’s development.

Participants of this meeting were lecturers and over 100 students and alumni from top universities in Hochiminh city such as: University of Technology, University of Science, Banking University, University of Economics and Law, the International University, University of Social Sciences and Humanities and leaders of market-leading companies such as: C.T Group, Hoa Binh Construction and Real Estate Corporation, Thien Long Corporation, Hochiminh city Business Association, Parkson (Malaysia), Retail Association, Vien Dong Corporation, G.S Corporation (Korea).

The meeting offered answers to various questions from all parties. What are outstanding students doing and how well are they doing? Is academic excellence the guarantee for success in the future? The CEOs told the story of their career development and shared tips for success with the final-year students and alumni who had graduated for 3-5 years. This was also an opportunity for outstanding final-year students and alumni to express their ambition for success in their career. Leaders of market-leading companies expressed their expectation for a workforce of outstanding graduates.

Mr. Tran Kim Chung, President of C.T Group, said “The first purpose of this meeting is to provide us, together with outstanding students and the companies, the chance to express our appreciation to teachers and universities for producing the “top quality seeds” for the society. Companies are in need of human resource and a good workforce is one of the essential factors for companies to ensure rapid and stable development. Companies will not be robust without talents. On the other hand, talented people will not be able to reach their full potential if companies do not provide them with the necessary conditions. After this meeting, the organizers will form a “Club for Outstanding graduates” sponsored by market-leading companies.”

C.T Group is known as the symbol of a youthful, dynamic and diverse community with 36 member companies, whose key business activities focus on the “heated fields” in Vietnam’s economy, such as: Real Estate, Retail, Construction, Finance Investment, Food and Entertainment, Healthcare and Educational services, Plantation, Mining & Ecotourism.
