CT GROUP: A MODEL OF PRIVATE ENTERPRISE INNOVATION ALIGNED WITH RESOLUTION 68

CT GROUP

At the exhibition “Resolution 68 – A New Driving Force for the Development of Vietnam’s Private Economy,” held at the National Assembly Building on May 18–19, 2025, CT Group made a strong impression with a series of groundbreaking technological solutions. The event was not merely a showcase of achievements, but a clear demonstration of the pioneering role of private enterprises in national innovation.

The centerpiece of CT Group’s booth was the passenger-carrying unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developed by its subsidiary, CT UAV. With a top speed of 190 km/h, a continuous flight time of 2 hours, and a range of 350 km, this vehicle promises to usher in a new era of smart, environmentally friendly urban transportation. A full-size model is expected to debut in October 2025, marking a major step in the application of high technology to daily life.

CT Semiconductor, another CT Group subsidiary, introduced the first ATP semiconductor chip factory in Vietnam developed using domestically owned technology. Phase 2 of the plant began construction on April 30 in Binh Duong and is expected to commence operations in Q4 2025, with a target of producing 100 million chips annually by 2027. Significantly, more than 10% of the budget is allocated for research and development, indicating a long-term strategy to master core technologies such as AI, 6G, and UAVs.

The factory spans 30,000 m² at CT Group’s High-Tech Development Center in Thuan An, Binh Duong, with nearly USD 100 million invested in the second phase. The project involves experts with over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and consulting from a corporation that has built many of TSMC’s factories.

Amid the global push for greener economies, CT Group has pioneered the establishment of the ASEAN Carbon Credit Trading Platform (CCTPA). This ecosystem includes emission measurement tools using UAVs (CarbonFly), automated emissions inventories through the Sustain.Life platform, and ESG consulting services. CCTPA not only helps businesses access international carbon credit markets but also contributes to forming new competitive capabilities, meeting global trade requirements for sustainable development.

Resolution 68 not only aims to expand the private economy but also expects it to become a pillar in productivity, innovation, and integration. CT Group, with its ecosystem of nine core 4.0 technology sectors, exemplifies this role. The visit by General Secretary To Lam and other senior leaders to CT Group’s booth at the exhibition affirms their recognition and support for the innovation efforts of private enterprises.

According to Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, by 2030, Vietnam aims to have 2 million active businesses, with at least 20 major enterprises participating in global value chains. The private economy is positioned as one of the most critical drivers of the national economy and a leading force in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation.

After 33 years of development, CT Group has not only grown in scale but has also redefined the role of the private sector in Vietnam’s economic structure. Its steadfast commitment to mastering core 4.0 technologies is how CT Group affirms its national responsibility—not merely producing for the market, but creating Vietnamese value in the global value chain. CT Group’s development model is a vivid embodiment of the spirit of Resolution 68, opening a new direction for Vietnam’s private economy in the innovation era.
