CT GROUP: A LEADING EXAMPLE IN IMPLEMENING RESOLUTION NO.57 AMONG VIETNAMESE ENTERPRISES

CT GROUP

In the course of implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, CT Group has emerged as one of the pioneering enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City’s business sector.

CT Group has introduced and applied a wide range of products across science, technology, digital transformation, and innovation. These initial achievements serve as strong evidence of the Group’s aspiration to master core technologies and create a breakthrough driving force for future development.

From the beginning of implementing Resolution No. 57, CT Group has demonstrated strong determination and long-term vision through a series of breakthrough products. Most notably, the first ADC chip developed entirely by Vietnamese engineers in just six months, a foundational step paving the way for applications in national defense, security, AI, UAVs, and smart devices.

This marks a strategic move in CT Group’s journey toward mastering core technologies. Accordingly, the Group is developing a chip design house focused on the research and development of AI chips, IoT chips, and application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) in key areas such as UAVs, defense, 5G/6G, and sensor technologies.

“Ordinarily, developing a chip like this would take up to two years, but we accelerated the process and completed it in just six months. That is clear evidence of the momentum and competitive spirit driving CT Group in implementing Resolution 57,” said Mr. Tran Kim Chung, Chairman of CT Group.

CT Group is pioneering the development of dual-use UAVs integrated with LiDAR and BIM technologies to support construction monitoring, land management, and safety inspections. Notably, the Group’s digital technologies also assist local governments in streamlining administrative structures and eliminating the need for building permits, as supervision increasingly relies on digitized models, real-world data, and automated inspection systems.

By leveraging Digital Twin platforms alongside UAVs, AI, and BIM, CT Group not only enhances management efficiency but also supports the government’s agenda to modernize supervision practices, ensure transparency, and improve construction quality control.

In addition to the ADC chip and UAVs, CT Group has developed a range of advanced technologies, including intelligent management software, AI-powered automated monitoring systems, IoT devices, smart city platforms, and next-generation sensor modules. These products meet domestic demands while also holding strong export potential positioning Vietnamese technology brands on the international stage.

At the same time, the Group has identified six strategic technology sectors as national key product categories: semiconductors, 6G telecommunications, UAVs, gene and cell therapy, near-space economy, and digital transformation. The Group’s “Digital Twin 15” project contributes the largest data backbone to the National Data Center, helping to complete Vietnam’s digital infrastructure and enhance its capabilities in governance and oversight.

CT Innovation Hub 4.0 has been developed as a comprehensive innovation ecosystem that connects ideas, research, and commercialization. In just two months, the center welcomed over 100 visiting delegations, spreading a spirit of creativity and serving as a strategic bridge between researchers and businesses.

The Group has built a network of hundreds of domestic and international experts and scientists, collaborating with the AI Institute and Fulbright University Vietnam to establish a strong research foundation. In the first half of 2025, CT Semiconductor (a member of CT Group) successfully completed two “Train the Trainer” courses to train ATP semiconductor technicians at NIC Hoa Lac, showcasing its capability in training and mastering core technologies.

Projects such as the Concentrated Digital Technology Zone, Space Ship One, the Bac Tan Uyen High-Tech Industrial Cluster, and the Vinh Loc Lake Eco-Science and Culture Park have also been launched in sync, contributing to the development of national science and technology infrastructure.

CT Group remains committed to establishing technological ownership in nine core 4.0 domains: Semiconductors; Artificial Intelligence; UAVs; Green Crypto Currency; Carbon Credit Trading Platform Asean; Zero-Emission Modular Housing; Electric car – Electric train; Quantum Technology; New Energy and Gene & Cell Technology. This long-term orientation affirms the Group’s strategic vision and contributes to elevating Vietnam’s position on the global stage.

In addition, the Group continues to expand international cooperation, connecting with partners from the U.S., Taiwan (China), Indonesia, and other advanced countries to transfer technologies suited to Vietnam’s conditions, turning the vision of mastering technology into reality.

Speaking at the 33rd Anniversary of CT Group and the Launch Ceremony of the Vietnamese-Developed IoT Chip Design held in Ho Chi Minh City on June 29, 2025, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, affirmed: “CT Group’s strategic steps from designing AI, IoT, and UAV chips to packaging and testing are clear proof of the potential of Vietnamese enterprises in leveraging internal resources. The launch of the ADC chip design is not only a source of pride for CT Group but also contributes to realizing the aspiration of a Vietnam that masters core technologies and rises to the international stage.”

In the first six months of implementing Resolution 57, CT Group successfully organized 42 conferences with domestic and international universities on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

In parallel, a series of “Youth & Resolution 57 Days” programs were launched, designed specifically for students with a passion for innovation. Within just three months, the program attracted thousands of students from the Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho University, Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, and others.

The Group also launched the “Secure to Innovate” program, offering a starting salary of VND 20 million and an additional 10% bonus for students with outstanding achievements; and initiated a digital learning movement by laying the foundation for a Virtual University for Innovation, with the goal of building a Super Virtual University that integrates cutting-edge technologies to enhance education, research, and application.
